Tom Bereznicki has over 38 years experience in general dental practice in London, 30 of them at Queensgate. His special interests lie in restorative dentistry, with his professionalism and innovation honed through a robust programme of Continuous Professional Development and a peer group of talented dentists and surgeons who stimulate his curiosity and build his knowledge of the latest techniques and technologies.

He provides treatment through carefully managed plans which are tailor made for each patient’s  circumstances. Plans are considered and professional rather than simply trendy, and are evidence-based, with predictable outcomes. And he is supported by qualified and experienced staff both at the practice and elsewhere

We moved!

After 30 very happy and successful years running my own clinic in Queensgate, London, I decided to relocate my practice on the 1st January 2012 and join the Dawood and Tanner Dental Practice at 45 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 8SB.

My patients who have been treated for implants and, on occasion, root canal therapy since 2002 had already met Andrew, Susan, and Shanon, who have created an exciting centre of dental excellence. In the ever-changing and increasingly high-tech world of dentistry, there was simply no scope to provide all that my patients needed from my existing rooms, despite my very best endeavours. The Dawood and Tanner practice offers cutting edge facilities which I now consider to be indispensable to my practice in dentistry.

You will now have access to resources that I believe few other dental practices in Europe contain. These include 3D Imaging , 3D ‘printing’ of restorations , sophisticated modelling technologies, and an on-site dental laboratory, as well as hygienist services and specialist dentists working in, for example, complex root treatments, implants, and children’s dentistry. The practice also has a very beautiful art-deco lift!

The move to Dawood & Tanner has also freed up time from the everyday all-consuming tasks of administration and allowed me to diversify my interests within dentistry. I have recently taken up an appointment as a Visiting Clinical Specialist Teacher in the Department of Primary Care at the Dental Institute at Kings College, London. In January 2017 I was appointed as a Regional Speaker on the topic of Occlusion for The British Acadmy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In March 2017 I was co-opted to The Advisory Board in Primary Dental Care at The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. In June 2017 I was appointed as Extra-Curricular Education Coordinator Officer in The Kings College Dental Students Society. In July 2017 I also joined The Steering Group of The Faculty of Dental Trainers at The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

More recently, I was appointed as Member of The Clinical Board of Toothwise, a new media/technology company delivering news and resource to those involved in dentistry. In the FMC Dental Industry Awards, the company won ' The Best Use of Facebook' Award 2016 and was Finalist in 'The App of the Year' Award 2016. I also contribute clinical videos distributed by Toothwise.

In March 2018 I became a Member of The Faculty of Dental Trainers at The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (MFDTEd). In April 2018,  was appointed Staff President of The Kings Students Dental Society.

In May 2018 I was awarded one of King’s College London’s prestigious Teaching Excellence Awards – Teaching Experience out of the 2,200 nominations received. The Awards are offered as part of the King’s Learning and Teaching strategy funded by HEFCE and are now funded by King’s and recipients are selected from those nominated by students for their excellent and engaging teaching.

In July 2018 I became a Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, MFGDP(UK), at The Royal College of Surgeons England.
